Ann Sprague was born and raised in Red Cloud, Nebraska. She attended the University of Wyoming for her Bachelor of Arts degree followed by her Master of Fine Arts degree in Choreography and Performance of Dance at Mills College in Oakland, CA. After an injury to her ankle and subsequent physical therapy treatments, Ann realized she could combine her love of movement with the science of movement to help others improve their health and function. In 2001, she returned to school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska graduating cum laude with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Ann worked in outpatient physical therapy settings since graduating, but decided she wanted a practice that would allow her time to focus on the individual priorities and goals of the patient. She opened Upper Rogue Physical Therapy in Shady Cove, Oregon in June of 2012.
Ann is married to Lance Cooper, who owns Direct Physical Therapy, LLP in Ashland. They live in Ashland and have 2 wonderful 4-legged furry children, Cutler and Roxie. She enjoys running, yoga and local wine, cheese and chocolate.
